Nucor Rebar Fabrication, a Division of Nucor Steel ULC is certified to CSA Standard W186 “Welding of reinforcing bars in reinforced concrete construction” and, therefore, does meet the requirements of CSA A23.3 Clause 12.14.3.2 which is referenced in the National & Provincial Building Codes Section 4.3.3.1.

NBCC Section 4.3.3.1: “Buildings and their structural members made of plain, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete shall conform to CSA A23.3, “Design of concrete structures”.

CSA A23.3 Clause 12.14.3.2: All welding shall comply with CSA W186.
