This is a professional-level course that provides an overview of ASME BPVC Section IX, with an emphasis on its use in the welding industry. It explores the various articles, providing a detailed look at the more important aspects of each. As well, it provides demonstrations of how to navigate the code, helping the user understand where to start their search and when and how to use the cross-references they encounter. This workshop is suitable for anyone looking to gain a general understanding of Section IX and how the different articles are interrelated and used for the qualification of welding personnel and procedures.

• Students will have access to the online portion of the course (CWB Learning Resources) for 90 days beginning 2 weeks before the course start date. This platform will provide course content and a course exam.
• Participants will have access to download a certificate of attendance on successful completion of the course lessons and exam. Passing grade is 70%.
